What makes this spicy? The cayanne, garlic and the sriracha – so if you’re into that garlic-y spice this will be perfect for you. I made this at the last minute for a superbowl party (boo, worst results everrr) and was surprised at how much of a hit it was – an awesome dude even came up to us before leaving and said “yo, if I don’t see you again I just want you to know y’all brought the best food” and we were like “whatttt!”…that has to be the best thing you can say to an old fart married couple like us.
Spicy Garlic White Bean Dip
- cannellini beans/great white northern/white kidney/whatever, 2 cans
- sriracha, squidge to your hearts content
- 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
- cayenne, 1/2 tsp, and a sprinkle for garnish
- spring onion, for garnish
- salt, to taste
Ok so you have a couple of options here, one would be to just throw all of this in a food processor. There’s nothing wrong with that, it will be nice and smooth. The other option is my preferred method (aka, I am in between food processor’s right now), and it’s the good ole put it in a bowl and mush it with a fork – the nice part about this is you can leave it good’n chunky!
